Welcome T.S. Edouard!

Well the swell from Edouard did already begin to show today. After building with wind swept chop most of the day, it polished off to some fine glassy lines this evening.  I surfed Ed Walline Park with Bobby J. and Paul near sunset.  The set waves were lining up nice with head high peaks and consistent chest high waves in between. Super fun drops with a lot of face to play with,  then jacking up on the reform inside sections which mostly closed out.   The angle was fairly straight on from the South, yielding rights and lefts off the sand bar.  The outside was breaking consistently showing the larger sets as they filtered in.  The low  has strengthened to Tropical storm status very quickly and is expected to reach Cat 1 before landfall Tuesday.   Surf will likely be good tomorrow and then diminish Tuesday unless the storm stalls or dips further South.
