Blue Mountain Surf is heading south this weekend to compete in the Eastern Surfing Association Regional Championship.  After a fun season on the Gulf Coast,  Mike secured two slots in the invitation only championship, both Short and Longboard.    Beth Jehle also clinched a Longboard slot and will be ready to go head to head with the best surfers on the East Coast.  The event  is being held in Sebastian Inlet,  arguably the best wave in the state.  In an interesting twist, it’s the Gulf Coasters who will be giving up overhead waves to travel for the contest this time.  Seas along the Gulf coast are over ten feet right now while the East coast is marginal at 2-3 feet .   You know what they say…A bad day surfing is still way better than the best day at work!
